I always love to support local small businesses, so I decided to give this place another chance. I got the breakfast special, which is usually good, so I didn’t have any concerns about that. My inquiry was only about the pancake mix, as I had gotten sick from it before and just wanted some reassurance—after all, it’s my money as a customer, and I want to avoid dealing with stomach pain again. When I called to ask, the owner’s reaction was honestly shocking. He became defensive and upset, gave a vague response that it was “fresh,” avoided answering honestly, and then became disrespectful, dismissive, cursed, and hung up. It’s crazy how there’s no sense of respect for customers, especially repeat ones. Because of this interaction, he lost me as a customer, which is unfortunate given my loyalty. If this behavior continues, I don’t know how long the business will last. I hope he can improve his communication and professionalism, especially in the food service industry.

I waited 15 minutes for a toasted bagel , they served other people without paying attention to me , when I asked the cook for my bagel he said he was sleeping. Trying to make fun. Very disappointed with this place, never going back there!

Bagels seem fresh and tasty. The baked goods LOOK super taste but beware. I would steer clear of the pictured crumb cakes…I don’t know if it’s a one off error or what but it says sell by date of 6/24 (date of purchase is 6/16) but yet the cake is so so stale it’s barely edible. I stuck a fork in to taste a piece and literally couldn’t drive my stainless steel fork into the cake without significant effort and difficulty. I hate posting negative reviews but this is truly such a bad crumb cake…maybe they need a more airtight container? I’m honestly not sure but selling baked goods that are so hardened and solid is quite frankly just inappropriate.

Food tasted delicious and was made exactly as order, definitely a better spot than the competition 2 minutes away.
